When you woke this morning did you realize this would be a day written in history books? For the first time in Middle East history there has been a non-violent revolution, which accomplished its goals in only 18 days.So what did you do today while my future was being shaped? I was teaching our Zumba class when John texted me and informed me of the news. Then 30 min later mom called and left a message telling me that Mubarak had stepped down.
We will wait as the rest begins to unfold and see what our future hold. We will let you know where we end up going. Let's all keep praying that things will settle down in Egypt.
I was so excited when I heard the news! I hope the transition to a new government goes smoothly and I hope things calm down in time for you and John to live in Cairo.

yeah, i am happy for them as well, pretty amazing! i hope things settle down too, i'm excited for your new adventure over there. egypt sounds like an awesome place, hopefully one day i'll see it in person.
