We spent a wonderful Christmas with the Hernandez family. We spent some time in Vegas and Madera filled with lots of laughter, food, and DRIVING. John was great and did all the driving so I could try to keep our babies happy.
I don't think my family has ever done gingerbread houses so John and I decided to change that. Everyone had lots of fun even though they were dragging their feet at first.
We went to the Casino and bowled. It was the first time my dad had bowled! I see where we get our athletic abilities since he had a few spares!
Lots and lots of wrestling thanks to Gustavo who started it all.
I didn't really have my phone on me in Madera, so I didn't take pictures. I was enjoying time with the family. Gustavo is being deployed to Cuba in a few weeks so we all got together and had a nice carne asada and cheesecake. We also spent some time at the Jackson's playing Taboo. Girls vs. Guys. The girls won in "double overtime," and Rosa did an awesome job helping us secure our win.
We had a mini Christmas celebration with the Nashs'. It was nice and quite. The boys loved the books and toys. And mama Nash, papa Nash and Great Grandma Nash loved their gifts as well. It is nice to be able to spend some one on one time with them during the holidays. Although we do miss the rest of the Nash clan.
2015
Personally I am excited for this year. Not to sure why but I am planning on being with my boys more. Since moving to Murray, I have had a lot more time with my little family and it has been so nice. Working at the UDOH (Utah Department of Health), is really nice. I don't have to worry about the "little things" or drama. I miss interacting with the community and all the friends I made down there. But the move has allowed me to be able to see my college gang. More importantly I see John more often and that has been amazing. I can't even explain.
So what's in store for us in 2015? Montana? Changing jobs? Blogging? Crafting with my boys? Who knows... One thing I will try is to: "LIVE THE GOSPEL JOYFULLY."
